Local Heroes

I've just reworked how I archive Local Heroes "about" and comic entries. If you have any specific Local Heroes news entries, comic pages, or archive indexes bookmarked, well, I just broke all of them. Similar sitemap updates may occur for other Hurm.com sites throughout the year. However, all of these goings-on are not done without an important purpose in mind: simplicity. And accessibility. Wait, that's two reasons.

Okay, forget my reasons. Here's what changed for LocalHeroes.us: There's no longer an /archives/ subdirectory, with categories and subcategories crammed underneath. The names of the storyline subdirectories are simpler, because they only have the numbers and not the full storyline titles.

Here's one example: The "about" archive category is now sorted under the sensible URL www.localheroes.us/about/. Also, each strip is now found at www.localheroes.us/comics/strip_#.php, where # is the number of the strip you are looking for. Similarly, each storyline can be found at www.localheroes.us/comics/storyline_#/, where # is the number of the storyline. See? Simple and accessible!

Please forgive me if I broke your Local Heroes links. I'll try not to do so again (for at least another year ;).
